I was wondering if there would be a possibility of a mention on the site.We launched just over a month ago and the site has already gathered a great community here. Our goal is to eventually offer a central hub for people to be able to print and offer their own pieces of retro work. We recently released our first volume of a quarterly retro gaming book publication, Pixel Nation Volume 1. A launch of a retro gaming publishing firm Pixel Nation.Pixel Nation is a fiercely independent publishing company, specialising in hard print publications about video game history, art, design and culture. KhalX (PSN ID)įree advertisingI’d like to take a moment to submit a relevant news piece for GameCentral. The page shall be updated frequently once I’m closer to publishing it, hopefully sometime this summer. The fragility of warfare morality, the nature and desensitisation of violence, notions of good and evil, manual scenting (…I jest). If any readers are interested there’s a Facebook page lurking at /HollowShotguns, the ‘About’ section of which contains more detail on the plot. OldMiley (gamertag/PSN ID) Inbox: The NovelAnyone else think merely slinging a ‘V’ at the end for the next Grand Theft Auto is pretty uninspired? I’m aware it shall be blazing a fresh graphics engine, but I think part of the reason why Vice City and San Andreas remain so iconic is because they owned clearly distinguishable titles. Not just from playing but from being bombarded with trailers, previews, etc. I loved Skyrim, I put in over 100 hours and got the Platinum trophy just by playing the game and not even ‘Trophy hunting’ but I need a break. Just because they had huge success (and deservedly so) with Skyrim it shouldn’t mean that the developers have to milk it for all it is worth. It’ll just begin to suffer from oversaturation like other franchises have. Scrolls downAfter reading up on the available information on The Elder Scrolls MMO and reading the fan reaction to it in the comments section I can’t help but think that Bethesda are making a mistake with this one.For one thing it is far too soon to be releasing another game in the series.
